7 Green Smoothie Recipes That Will Curb Anyones Sweet Tooth (2024)

I love green smoothies! I love the way they make my skin glow and the way they make me feel. Green smoothies, when made right, do not taste like greens. They all have a sweetness about them that helps with sugar cravings and fills you up when you need it the most. I make mine for breakfast, lunch, dinner and even a quick snack!

All of these recipes are easy to make and take just a few seconds with a little bit of prepping! If you are not into prepping you can go to GreenBlender.com and they do the prepping for you! I have tried a few of their boxes and have been very happy with the quality of each box. NOTE: I live in the deep South and during the Summer months I would be a little concerned about the quality of the products and produce once it reached my home. Although it has cold packs in each box, I seriously do not see the cold packs I have seen so far lasting very long through our Summers. Definitely not enough to reach my Southern and HOT home!

Protein Powder or No Protein Powder

I usually add a bit of protein powder to my green smoothie, but you do not have to at all. Each smoothie is already full of nutrients, vitamins and some protein. I like an added boost, especially on my harder workout days. My two favorites are Slim & Sassy from DoTERRA and Shakeology from Beachbody. They both can hold their own and taste great. Neither are just protein powders. They are both packed with extra nutrients, vitamins and minerals.

Extra Add-Ins

I love adding essential oils to my smoothies. Three of my faves are grapefruit, lemon and Slim & Sassy essential oils. I love the flavor and each one has the ability to suppress the appetite, which can be an added bonus.

So there you have it! 7 of my favorite green smoothies! They taste great and are oh-so-good for you too!

Until next time….
