Veteran shock rocker Alice Cooper, Sublime With Rome and Needtobreathe have been added to the Orange County Fair’s Pacific Amphitheatre concert series.
Sublime With Rome, out on its final tour now that Sublime has reformed with frontman Jakob Nowell, will play the amphitheater July 27 with Fortunate Youth opening. Tickets are $40-$80.
Alice Cooper will play classics like “School’s Out” and “I’m Eighteen” when he plays Pacific on Aug. 16. Tickets are $37.

LAS VEGAS — Former football star and celebrity criminal defendant O.J. Simpson was cremated Wednesday, the lawyer handling his estate said following his death last week at home in Las Vegas at age 76.
Attorney Malcolm LaVergne told The Associated Press he was present, along with unspecified other people, for the morning event at Palm Mortuary in downtown Las Vegas.

Person shot in Anaheim, investigation launched

A person was shot in Anaheim late Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The shooting occurred around 4:15 p.m. on the 2800 block of West Ball Road. Both directions of Ball between Beach Boulevard and Dale Avenue were temporarily closed for the investigation, Anaheim Police Sgt. Jon McClintock said.
