Olivia Rodrigo sang about "that blonde girl" on 'Driver's License', and we've been obsessed ever since. The 21-year-old singer-songwriter is the internet's favourite pop girl and now, she's back with new album, GUTS.

Following the release of SOUR in 2021, Olivia returns with her sophom*ore album and it's set to be filled with chart-topping tracks that we already can't wait to sing along to. We've already got her first single from the record, 'Vampire', on repeat, BTW.

So, from the release date, track list, lyrics and more, here is everything you need to know about Olivia Rodrigo's new album, GUTS.

Plus, Olivia is getting even gutsier as a deluxe version of her album was released on 22nd March, alongside the video for her new song, 'obsessed'. BRB, adding the new tracks to my playlist RN!

In an appearance on The Jimmy Kimmel Show, Olivia revealed some of the NSFW lyrics she changed on her hit songs, 'get him back' and 'all-american b*tch'.

"I love using a swear word when I think it's tasteful and necessary but sometimes I try to tone it down," she shared.

Then, she revealed that 'get him back' was originally supposed to go, "cause I miss the way he kisses and the way he grabbed my ass" and 'all-amercican bitch' was going to be "perfect all-American lips and perfect all-american t*ts". How iconic.

Olivia sent us all into a frenzy when she announced her second album on 26th June. In an Instagram post with the album's cover, she wrote: "I am so proud of this record and I can’t wait to share it with you all! U can pre-save it now!" Can't. Wait.

For the deluxe version of the track, she announced it her while performing an encore at he GUTS world tour on 19th March. During 'get him back!', she and her backup dancers unfolded signs with handwritten messages revealing the release date and song titles.

“For me, this album is about growing pains and trying to figure out who I am at this point in my life,” Olivia said in a statement. “I feel like I grew 10 years between the ages of 18 and 20. It was such an intense period of awkwardness and change. I think that’s all just a natural part of growth, and hopefully the album reflects that.” So, get ready for some super relatable songs about relationships, growing up and more!

Speaking to Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s New Music Daily, she also discussed the idea behind the new album’s title. “I’ve had it for a long time, I had it when I was making SOUR,” she explained.

“I just think it’s an interesting word, and people use it in so many interesting contexts. Spill your guts, hate your guts, I think is a really interesting term. It means bravery, but it also means listen to your intuition. I just think all of these things were coincidentally things that I’ve been thinking about in this chapter.”

Olivia's first single from her new album is 'vampire', which was released on 30th June alongside an epic music video directed Petra Collins.

The lyrics include, “I used to think I was smart, but you made me look so naive. The way you sold me for parts as you sunk your teeth into me/ Bloodsucker, famef****r, bleeding me dry like a goddamn vampire.”

In an Instagram post about the track, Olivia wrote: "Writing this song helped me sort through lots of feelings of regret, anger, and heartache. It’s one of my favourite songs on the album and it felt very cathartic to finish.

"I'm so happy it’s in your hands now and I hope it helps u deal with any bloodsuckers in your life," she continued.

Since its release, fans have been speculating who the song is about, with some suggesting it's about her ex-boyfriend, Zack Bia (which Madison Beer basically confirmed, BTW!).

She has also released 'bad idea right?', 'get him back' and 'obsessed', which we have had on repeat since they dropped!
